Welcome to BSA Troop 381's Website

We are excited about the opportunities that Boy Scouts has provided for our sons.  Scouting can provide a structured environment to teach young men the skills that will help them mature into adulthood.  Our goal is to uphold the principles of leadership, achievement, and service in a creative, fun, and active atmosphere.  While our adult leaders are there to guide and encourage them, our scouts are expected to plan activities, lead, support, and learn from one another.  Troop 381 is involved in service projects that benefit our community. We have been involved with such organizations as Goodwill/Goodturn, Hope Hospice, Texas Adopt a highway / trash pickup, Bike MS, Food Bank, Wounded Warriors, Relay for Life,  building tables and planter boxes for schools.   We are commited to providing our Troop with campouts every month.  In addition, we are working to raise funds so that the troop can travel out of state for their week long summer camp broadening their experience and appreciation of the outdoors.  If you are interested in learning more about our troop, send us an email by using the "Contact Us" option on the left side of this page.

Annual Fund Raiser

Posted on Apr 17 2024 - 9:50am

It is time for our annual Troop fund raiser.  We are going to do a raffle similar to what we have done in years past. Our goal is to collect prizes between now and the end of April.   We will sell tickets the month of May and have the drawing on June 3.  Please talk to local businesses you have a connection with to see if they will donate a gift card or prize for the scouts.  I can get tax letters to any one that needs one for the donation.   If you want to donate money toward prizes we can buy gift cards at places like Dick's or Academy.   Please reach out to Tim if you have any questions.
